Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Invyte, operated by Balder Sandstrøm, based in Denmark ("Invyte", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the Invyte app and website on iOS, Android and the web. By creating an account or using Invyte, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Invyte.
These Terms also serve as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the Invyte app. You can reach us any time at support@invyte.dk.
Who can use Invyte
You may use Invyte only if you are 16 years or older and able to form a binding agreement with us. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Invyte is not directed to children under 16. For our full standards protecting minors, see our Child Safety Standards.
Your licence to use Invyte
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the Invyte app and website for your own, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- resell, rent, sublicense or commercially exploit any part of the service;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with security, rate limits or other technical safeguards;
- use bots, scrapers or automated means to access the service or harvest other people's data.
Invyte and all related software, branding and content (other than content you and other users create) belong to us or our licensors. When you install through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply to the download.
Your account
You need an account to use most of Invyte. Authentication is handled by our provider Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information, keep one account per person, and tell us promptly at support@invyte.dk if you suspect unauthorised use.
Acceptable use & zero tolerance
Invyte is a space for real friends and real gatherings. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You agree not to post, share or do any of the following, on any surface of the service:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking or incitement of violence against anyone.
- Hate speech or content that attacks or demeans people based on who they are.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a minor — see our Child Safety Standards. This is reported to the authorities.
- Pornographic, sexually explicit or gratuitously violent or graphic content.
- Content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Impersonation, deception, spam, scams, or unsolicited promotion.
- Sharing other people's private information without their consent.
- Uploading malware, or otherwise disrupting, overloading or harming the service or its users.
There is no tolerance for users who engage in this behaviour. Breaking these rules can lead to content being removed and your account being suspended or permanently terminated, as described below.
Content you share
You keep ownership of the events, messages, photos, videos and reactions you create on Invyte ("your content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content solely to operate and provide the service — for example, delivering a photo to the other guests in your event. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we are legally required to keep or that other users have already received.
You are responsible for the content you share, and you confirm you have the right to share it. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not sell it.
Reporting, blocking & moderation
Invyte gives you tools to keep your experience safe. You can block another user, and you can report users or content you believe break these Terms. You can also email us at support@invyte.dk, or, for concerns involving a minor, safety@invyte.dk.
We review reports and aim to act on objectionable content within 24 hours — removing it and, where warranted, suspending or banning the accounts responsible. We may remove content or limit access at our discretion to keep the community safe, though we are not obliged to monitor everything that is shared.
Suspension & termination
You can stop using Invyte and delete your account at any time from within the app, or from our account deletion page. Deleting your account removes your identity and personal data and cannot be undone. Content you shared with other people — such as photos in a shared event or messages in a group chat — is not erased, but is disconnected from you and shown as a deleted user. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is removed and what stays.
We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use puts other users or the service at risk. Serious or repeated violations, and anything involving the safety of a minor, result in permanent removal.
Disclaimers & liability
Invyte is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, and we are not responsible for content shared by users or for interactions between users.
To the extent permitted by law, Invyte is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Danish or EU law, including your statutory consumer protections.
Changes, governing law & contact
We may update these Terms as Invyte evolves. If a change is material, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Invyte after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Danish courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live. Questions about these Terms? Write to us at support@invyte.dk.
