Your account

Delete your account.

You can remove your Invyte account and everything in it at any time. Here's how — and how we make sure it's really you asking.

The quickest way: from inside the app

If you can still sign in, this is the fastest route — you're already authenticated, so there's nothing to verify. Open Invyte, go to your account settings, and choose Delete account. Your account is removed right away and this can't be undone — exactly what's deleted is spelled out below.

Open Invyte →

Can't open the app? Request it here

Already uninstalled, or can't sign in? Enter the email address on your Invyte account and we'll start the deletion for you. This works even without the app installed.

Prefer to do it yourself? Just email support@invyte.dk with the email address on your account.

How we confirm it's really you

Because anyone could type someone else's address, an email on its own is never enough to delete an account. So before we remove anything, we send a confirmation to the email address on the account and only proceed once you reply or follow the link. Only the person who can open that inbox can complete the request — the same safeguard that protects a password reset.

Nothing is deleted the moment you submit. Your request simply starts the process, and you stay in control until you confirm.

What's removed, and what stays

Removed right away: your identity and personal data — your name, email, profile photo and bio, your connections, your notifications and settings, and your private direct messages. This can't be undone, and any remaining copies (including backups) are purged within 30 days.

Kept, but no longer linked to you: things you shared into spaces with other people are part of their memories too, so we don't erase them — for example, photos you added to a shared event, your messages in a group or event chat, and your posts in an event's feed. We strip your name and profile from them, and they appear as a deleted user.

Events you hosted depend on who else was there. An event that was only yours is deleted with your account. An event you shared with others, with photos worth keeping, stays as a memory for them — with you shown as a deleted user. A future event with other guests is cancelled, so everyone is notified, rather than deleted.

We keep only the little we're legally required to — for example, short-lived security logs — as described in our Privacy Policy.
